Areas We Serve

Drug & Alcohol Rehab Serving All of Los Angeles

From the San Fernando Valley to Long Beach and the Ventura County line, we provide medical detox, residential and outpatient care for adults across Los Angeles — with admissions open 24/7.

Reggie’s Recovery Center provides addiction treatment for adults across Los Angeles County and the nearby communities of Ventura County — from the San Fernando Valley and the foothills of Glendale and Pasadena to Santa Clarita, the Antelope Valley, the Westside, the coast, central LA and the South Bay. Wherever you’re calling from, you reach the same admissions team, 24 hours a day, at (818) 355-1200.

Our care happens in two places. Reggie’s Recovery, our hilltop campus at 9250 Del Arroyo Dr in Sun Valley, is where medical detox and residential treatment take place, with 24/7 nursing, an on-call physician and views across the valley to the San Gabriel Mountains. Reggie’s Treatment Center, at 2107 W. Manchester Ave in South Los Angeles, is our outpatient facility for partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) care, with day and evening tracks. Both are part of one family of programs with one clinical team, so stepping down from one level to the next doesn’t mean starting over.

Quick answer

Reggie’s Recovery Center serves adults throughout Los Angeles County and neighboring Ventura County. Detox and residential care are at our DHCS-licensed, Joint Commission–accredited campus in Sun Valley, central to the San Fernando Valley; PHP and IOP run at our Manchester Ave center in South LA. Admissions answers 24/7 at (818) 355-1200, coordinates transportation if needed and often admits the same day.

Why choose care near home?

Treatment that’s within driving distance has practical advantages. Family members can attend scheduled visits and family therapy without travel days. When you step down to outpatient care, your sessions are close enough to keep up with while you return to work or school. And your aftercare plan — meetings, therapy, alumni programming — can be built around the community you actually live in.

Treatment near home keeps family, routines and local support within reach during and after care.

A little distance helps, too. Even a drive across the county can put space between you and the routines, people and places tied to using. Each city page below explains the route, the drive time without heavy traffic, local resources and one topic that matters to people in that area, from alcohol withdrawal to aftercare.

Don’t see your city?

The communities listed above are the ones we hear from most, but they aren’t the limit. We accept clients from across California and from out of state. If you live somewhere not on this page, call us and we’ll talk through options and travel, including how arrival day would work and what your insurance may cover. Many people deliberately choose treatment away from home so they can focus without daily distractions.

How does transportation coordination work?

Getting to treatment shouldn’t be the thing that stops you. When you call, an admissions coordinator asks about your health, what you’ve been using and your insurance, and then helps plan how you’ll arrive. Our admissions team coordinates transportation when it’s needed. Often a family member or friend drives; if that isn’t possible, we’ll work out other arrangements with you. If you’re in withdrawal or have been drinking or using, please don’t drive yourself.

Wherever you live in the region, the trip to treatment can be planned for you.

Most admissions are completed in under two hours, and most people are admitted the same day. If you’re traveling from farther away, we’ll help you think through timing so you arrive when the team is ready for you. Families can review our admissions page for what to bring and what to leave at home.

Most people don’t stay at a single level. A common path is detox and residential care in Sun Valley, then PHP and IOP on Manchester Ave, often while living in sober living or back at home, and then aftercare and alumni programming. Your clinical team recommends each step based on how you’re doing, not a fixed calendar.

Next steps

If you have a PPO plan, treatment is often covered at least in part depending on your plan. A free insurance verification usually takes 15–30 minutes, and our Insurance Decoder helps you understand your benefits before you call. HMO options are limited with us, but we’ll guide you to resources if that’s your situation. We generally don't accept Medi-Cal, but if that's your coverage we'll connect you with a provider who does. If you’re helping someone else, our families page is a good place to start.

If this is an emergency: call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental-health crisis, call or text 988. In LA County, the Substance Abuse Service Helpline is available 24/7 at 1-844-804-7500.
