What is Residential Treatment?
Residential treatment is the most intensive form of addiction care outside of medical detox. Clients live on-site full-time in a structured, therapeutic environment that removes the triggers, stresses, and access points of daily life — and replaces them with healing, learning, and community.
Our residential program is part of Reggie's Recovery — the inpatient detox and residential division of Reggie's Recovery Center. It ranges from 30 to 90 days, with extensions available based on clinical need. Every plan is individually tailored — there is no one-size-fits-all treatment here.
What Treatment Looks Like
A typical day at Reggie's blends evidence-based clinical therapy with holistic wellness practices and meaningful downtime. Mornings begin with a healthy breakfast and group therapy. Mid-day brings individual sessions, family work, and educational groups. Afternoons may include yoga, meditation, art therapy, or fitness. Evenings are for community, journaling, and rest.
Therapeutic Modalities
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — identify and change thought patterns that drive addiction
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — emotional regulation and distress tolerance
- EMDR — process trauma that often underlies substance use
- Motivational Interviewing — strengthen internal commitment to change
- Family Systems Therapy — heal relationships and rebuild trust
- 12-Step facilitation — for clients who choose this path
- Holistic modalities — yoga, meditation, breathwork, nutrition counseling
Dual-Diagnosis Care
Most people struggling with addiction are also dealing with co-occurring mental health challenges — anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder. Treating only the addiction without addressing these underlying conditions often leads to relapse. Our program is fully equipped for dual-diagnosis care, with on-staff psychiatrists and psychologists.
Recovery isn't just about stopping the substance. It's about building a life you don't need to escape from.
